My Story

*Been in foster since Jan 2024!* Ziti and Linguini are a 9-month-old, 5-pound male kittens from the NYC streets. Seeing double? Nope, just double trouble! These brothers are dead ringers for each other, but you'll soon be able to tell them apart by their personalities. Linguini loves to play and will run headfirst into a wall chasing a feather toy, but is still a little shy about petting. But he's currently learning that he really loves neck scratches! Ziti started out as a shy guy, but now he is brave enough to show his soft fuzzy belly. And he's now the bold one when it comes to jumping up on the couch to get petted! Both of them go INSANE for a laser pointer, and will jump on top of each other in a desperate scramble to catch the red dot; it's equally funny and impressive to watch them battle. Neither of them is a big "meow-er," instead, they chirp at each other doves! Ziti (little spot on his back) is soooo friendly and very happy being picked up and cuddled! He's very needy for pets when his foster mom comes home rom work. He loves to roll over and show his tummy to get her attention. His brother Linguini (big spot on his back) is making good progress- he is still getting accustomed to being picked up, but prefers to keep his four paws on the ground. But he's a big fan of head/back scratches now. Linguini and Ziti were shy and scared when they were rescued from the tough streets of Brooklyn, but in the last two months they have blossomed, getting more and more comfortable with humans. These brothers would do well with adopters who will keep nurturing them as they continue to bloom. Vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, FeLV / FIV negative, neutered, and microchipped. To apply, visit our website (www.waggytailrescue.org) for an adoption application. It is important to fill out an application as soon as possible for consideration, and we require a complete application for you to meet an animal. We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the animal is on our website, they are still available. Waggytail Rescue CANNOT guarantee the exact age of any adoptable cat, or final size of any of our adoptable kittens. We rely on the information provided to us by veterinarians, shelters, owner surrenders and other circumstances bringing the cat into our rescue. Adoptions: [email protected]
