Zirconia - City of Industry Location

Meet Zirconia! At first glance, Zirconia seems like an average kitten: small and playful, with ordinary black fur (and whitish ears where her fur is naturally thin). But when you know her back story, it is remarkable that Zirconia is with us at all. Zirconia's mama and four siblings were rescued from a hoarding situation when the babies were less than two weeks old, and everyone was under-weight and malnourished, with Zirconia being the tiniest of all. In foster care, mama and babies were supplemented with formula to give much needed nourishment, and all seemed to put on weight, though Zirconia progressed at the slowest possible pace. As her siblings outpaced her in development and energy, Zirconia didn't let her extra-small size hold her back, learning to walk, eat and play with her rambunctious brothers. Unfortunately, there came a point where it seemed like even her tiny determination would not be enough, and another intervention was needed to inject fluids to give her an extra boost to help her thrive. Fortunately, our efforts were rewarded and Zirconia did begin to thrive, so that now she has become just what she appears to be: a sweet and ordinary, healthy kitten. She may still be small in size, but her outward un-remarkable appearance disguises an inner resolve and will to live - and a desire to love and be loved. I do have a bit of a sensitive tummy so I currently eat Authority Salmon kitten kibble which has done wonders and I feel great now! Zirconia is spayed, up to date on her vaccines and is microchipped which will be registered to her new family. Come meet Zirconia at the City of Industry location.
