Zen (The Yoga Kittens)

Zen is one of 7 kittens who joined our rescue when their Mama Yogi was found as a pregnant stray about to deliver any minute. They were born June 10, 2024. Their beautiful calico Mama Yogi has been an amazing mom feeding and caring for them. She is so affectionate and loving and she clearly passed down that trait to her little ones. They run to their foster family the minute they walk in the door and their favorite place to be is your lap. Of course playing is also top priority as you can see from the pics and our Facebook page. Zen is super playful but also is so ready for snuggles and belly rubs! The kittens started eating wet food around four weeks old, and now are eating kibble too of course. This is a huge help to lighten Mama’s workload. They all use the litterbox with clumping litter now too. Despite eating on their own, Mama Yogi is still caring for them, teaching them, and mothering them, which is the ideal scenario. The kittens and Mama all got an A+ at the vet on their 7/30/24 visit. The doctor and tech both said “they were all purrfect and so well behaved. Nobody made a peep even when they got their vaccine and microchip. You always have the healthiest kittens”. We loved that wonderful compliment. When the kittens are 8 weeks old (August 5) they will be ready for furever homes. Mama Yogi will be ready soon thereafter when she is fully vaccinated and spayed. Our $100 adoption fee or two kitties adopted together for $175, includes first year wellness exams, kitten vaccines and vaccine boosters, rabies vaccine, spay/neuter when age and weight appropriate.
