My Story

Miss Zelda has been through so much and is in desperate need for a quiet home where she can finally relax. She started her life being hit by a car and now has a bit of a wobble when she walks. She was taken in and nurtured back to health but over time her adoptive family had children that Zelda did not react well to. She has some trauma around being approached quickly and is very slow to trust. She was surrendered to Paws for Love and has been in foster care for several months and is doing so much better. She loves to sit with her foster mom on the couch and relax until she's so content she starts to drool, when comfortable she sits with her tongue out too which is always adorable. She is one of the sweetest girls you will meet but with the trauma she's experienced that sweet lovable girl takes time to come out of her shell. At the start of her rehabilitation she would slap when approached. With love and patience we now see the girl behind the slaps, but transporting her to a new home may bring out some of that fear again so patience and love is a must. Now this little bean doesn't use her paws, she uses her head to bonk you when she needs more pets, there is no sign of the frightened girl she once was. She wants to nuzzle and love all day if you'd let her and if your lap is open she will happily stomp right over to you. To prevent any backsliding though, she will not be good in a home with children, other cats or dogs, but if you need an emotional support cat that needs an emotional support human, please consider Miss Zelda. Perhaps she could help you save Hyrule?
