My Story

Zelda is a 2-year-old cat who came to us as a stray. Zelda is a true princess that loves sitting at the top of the cat trees and watching over the peasants in her kingdom. She loves to play in her tunnel and with feather toys. Zelda is a total lap cat and will will cry for her foster mom to sit down so she can plop into her lap. She adores people and demands attention. She's fine with being picked up as long as you let her go when she wants to go. She's great with kids and plays well with her foster mom's 8-year-old niece. She's very loving, loves people, loves to play and always wants to be by her foster mom's side. She's got a dominant personality, and she snuggles with one of her foster mom's cats but keeps her distance from the other. She does not like dogs and she's not afraid to show it! She would be fine alone in a new home or with another submissive cat. She sleeps between her foster parents in bed and doesn't like to share the bed with other pets. She may have an intolerance to chicken, but she's currently eating Natural Balance limited ingredient salmon & pea wet and dry food, which works very well for her. It's not a prescription diet, but adopters should keep her on it unless their vet recommends otherwise. She will only drink water from a fountain, so we will send one with her to her adoptive home. To apply for adoption, please complete our online application: https://www.jotform.com/mobykitrescue/adoption-application. If you have already submitted an Adoption Application online and would like to be considered for Zelda, please let us know at [email protected]. If your application is selected and approved, you will be contacted and put in touch with her foster family for a meet and greet. If you submit an application and do not hear back, don't worry! Your application will still be kept on file in case and can be used for other cats that become adoptable. The adoption fee is $200 and includes the following: spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, distemper vaccines, deworming, microchip, FeLV & FIV testing, deflea and vet examination.
