Yukon

Yukon was found as a stray with his brother, Yoshie; same litter as Yona and Yanis, too. Yukon seems to be the bravest one of the whole group. He allows foster Mom to pet him on his head and body. He doesn't seem to shy away that much when you pet him. He is curious as well; he sits and watches more than Yoshie at this point. Yukon seems to have a more rounded looking face and he has a bit more gray. Yukon seems curious and more willing to interact. He is starting to lean into the head and neck scratches now! Foster Mom is very hopeful and confident that Yukon will continue his acceptance and willingness for pets and touches. He does still move to go lay with/on his brother, Yoshie, but that doesn't happen everytime. Happy to report that Yukon has started to meow a little bit! It's so cute to hear; he gets especially excited about his wet food. He still isn't a fan on the house dog and hisses at him if he feels he is too close or shouldn't be looking at him. However, he still jumps on the bed and lays with me while the dog is on the bed. Yukon still has his shy and skittish moments. He always gets on the bed to snuggle and greet foster Mom in the morning. He enjoys snuggling with his brothers, too. Yukon seems to be the least brave of the group; he chooses when he wants to be out and about. He is a sweet potato and just needs an adopter than is patient and understanding. He still loves to give his love bites! He is the biggest of the foster group; foster Mom will be incorporating weight management food in with the dry food mix and trying to back off on the amount of dry food given. He would do best in a home with another kitty to play with.
