UPDATE 3/3/09: Yin and Yang are in foster care this week and their foster mom has called to report they are doing well. They are both a little shy at first but now love to be pet, held, and brushed. They are getting along fine with the other cats in the house and they are doing quite well. We know that with a slow introduction that these 2 are going to do fine. Please e-mail us if you are interested or visit them this weekend at PetsMart.
UPDATE 2/28/09: Yin is pictured in front and Yang is behind her. Yin is said to be the more outgoing and curious of the 2 cats and Yang is her shy brother. They are both sweet. They will be at PetsMart tomorrow and each weekend until adopted. They are also in need of a temporary foster home if they are not adopted tomorrow. They were "rescued" by woman who then gave them to her mom because she had too many cats. Her mom does not like cats and did not spend time socializing them which is why they are a little shy. They were then turned over to rescue because the mom never liked cats and never bonded with them. Luckily they have each other and appear to be very bonded to each other. POSTED 2/26/09: Yin and Yang are a bonded pair of siblings. They are about 2 years old and are short haired seal point colored Siamese. They were turned over to rescue because the previous owner had too many cats. They have been completely vetted and are spayed and neutered. One of the pair is very shy so we urgently need to find them a foster home or permanent home where they can have some time to adjust. They will not do well at our adoption site but if you are interested in helping this pair, please go to PetsMart on Archer Road in Gainesville this Saturday at 11am or you can e-mail us at [email protected] for an application.
