My Story

Yarrow is a 3-year-old Balinese who weighed just over 8lbs at intake! Medical update: Yarrow and Poinsettia are both looking for a foster-to-adopt home as they are being treated for feline chlamydia. This is a 30-day treatment; during that time, they should be isolated from other cats as it is contagious. They will both be sent with eye medication and a liquid oral antibiotic. If you are interested in meeting with them to become a potential foster, please let us know! 07/06/24 This handsome adventurous guy is Yarrow! Yarrow arrived at the shelter with several other cats because their previous owner was overwhelmed by having too many cats. Yarrow was said to be a very outgoing and adventurous cat who loved to explore the kitchen! We highly recommend his next home have cupboards with doors because Yarrow likes to rip into food bags, whether it be cat food, dog food or human food! He just has to see what everything is! Yarrow was said to be litterbox trained and super cuddly. He was said to like other cats, as long as the other cats like him, and he LOVES to be under the covers of the bed! Yarrow was said to also get along with dogs and children. His previous owner thought he would do okay around babies as well, but he does not actually have experience with babies. He was said to generally mind well, other than his counter and cabinet surfing tendencies. If you are interested in meeting this handsome, outgoing guy, please give the shelter a call!
