Xavier

How to describe how wonderful Xavier is? This guy has been through a lot, yet he never loses his delightful disposition. Few things make him happier than a shoulder ride (left shoulder please!) or a nice nap in the crook of your legs.

Xavier was found as a stray and taken to a lovely vet's office. She gave him a wonderful home, but being a vet she had a very full house, and Xavier doesn't like to share the attention he gets. He was brought to C.A.T. where he was put into a great foster home and underwent surgery to fix a problem with his declaw. There he was sharing with 7 other cats, and he just wasn't happy.

Xavier then went to another foster home and athough he had to share with one other cat, you can see from the last picture that his passive fluffy houseguest was his best friend. They wrestled and played together, and were often cuddled up together. Xavier would be great in a home with one other passive cat, or on his own.

Since Xavier is a sensitive guy, he should be in a home without small children. He would appreciate a home where people understand that a refined older gentleman (he's a young 9 years) such as himself does not wish to have his belly rubbed.....but his back end by his tail....that is another story! One slight touch and he raises his rear end in happiness and begins to purr.

Xavier is waiting to meet you at the Tualatin Petsmart store. Adoption hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 12-4 or by appointment. Come meet all the wonderful adoptable cats and kittens from Cat Adoption Team!
