FIV positive cats can live as long as negative cats and may never have any health issues. All he needs is good quaility food, regular vet visits, a clean environment, and lots of love! FIV positive cats can also live with negative cats as long as the household is stable and everyone gets along, which is definitely the case with Woody- he lives with FIV negative friends and they get along great! FIV is spread to other cats through deep, vicious bite wounds that are uncommon outside of intact tomcats.We only adopt to people in the St. Louis METRO area. Our adoption fees: Cats range from $150 to $175. Exotic breeds may be more. Dogs range from $250 to $350. High demand puppies and small dogs may be more. This fee includes: felv/fiv/heartworm testing, worming, flea and ear mite treatments, age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, lab work, dental or other medical or surgical treatments as deemed necessary by our team of veterinarians and a microchip with free registration.
