My Story

Looking to add someone special to your home? Come out and meet Wonder! Wonder was brought in as a stray by an Animal Control Officer after they were called to the scene for an injured cat who was wobbling around and had a cut on his paw. Back at the shelter, the clinic team did discover an abscess on Wonder's paw (which has been treated), but his wobbling did not seem to be related to any injury. Through two sets of x-rays the team saw that Wonder did not seem to have anything wrong with his legs, which led them to believe he may have cerebellar hypoplasia (CH). During his care, staff also noticed that Wonder's pupils do not seem to react normally to light and it's likely he has partial to complete vision loss. Despite these factors, Wonder is still a healthy and very loving boy who seems to do fine navigating spaces after being given time to get used to the environment. Wonder is current on shots and microchipped. Cats are treated monthly with Revolution flea preventative. All pets are spayed/neutered prior to a finalized adoption. If you have questions about an animal please have their name and ID number ready and contact shelter staff by: (1) visiting Animal Friends during our open hours (though some cats may be located offsite at one of our partner locations), (2) calling 513-867-5727, or (3) emailing [email protected].
