Wolfy

This hunky fellow is Wolfy. He was born around July 2020. He came to us when his family was no longer able to keep him. He is a very low key kind of guy. He likes to follow people around and lounge wherever he can. He has had some chronic upper respiratory infections which we now believe to be related to a small polyp. The polyp has not been confirmed but is suspected. When he is healthy, you may hear some noisy breathing at times. When he gets a cold, he tends to feel pretty bad. The polyp would require specialty vetting to remove it and since it is believed to be small currently, removal is not recommended at this time. He is very sweet but has a sassy side. He can be unpredictable at times when he will be done with petting. He gives love nips when he is happy. He is currently 16lb and stable at that weight. He was recently brushed out for his mats. He will need some training with the brush to get used to it or may need a groomer to keep his fur maintained. He does fine with cats. We were told he was around dogs but has not been around them very much since then. The dogs he did meet, had him slightly nervous. We are told he was around kids. Due to his sassy side and love nips, we are recommending cat-savvy older children, or no children. He may do well with slow introduction and an older dog. He is neutered, vaccinated, and FIV/FeLV negative.
