My Story

Winter is a middle-aged cat, about 7 years old. He came to our rescue when our Veterinarian called to tell us that Winter's owners didn't want to deal with his urine infection. They were going to euthanize him. Now, this Vet Clinic had been caring for him his whole life. They knew he deserved to have a good long life, and this infection could be cleared up. So he came to us. He was very withdrawn, isolated, fearful and had no confidence. We concluded that he was not in a happy home. Soon, his infection started to clear up, and his confidence grew. He began to socialize with the other cats, and changed into a very sweet boy. He is healthy and happy! He was a little overweight when he came, but now he is looking pretty healthy and fit! Those gorgeous gold/green eyes are so beautiful! Winter is a fairly quiet cat and is shy until he gets to know you. He likes other cats once he gets to know them, too! He has a playful side that comes out now and then. You'll see him zooming around the room with a toy, running and jumping. He sleeps snuggled up with the other foster cats in the window. He loves to watch out the window! Winter has not had any health issues since his infection. He is eating regular (Purina) cat food and uses the litter box without any issues. We know he will make a great pet for the right home. He deserves to enjoy the rest of his life being loved and wanted.
