Winken and Blinken are thriving in a nurturing foster home. Orphaned at only 1 and 1/2 weeks of age, these tiny brothers showed pluck and faith, and excellent appetites, and have grown into adorable fluffballs. They have roaring purrs, and are touchingly responsive.
They love to be handled, and greet everyone with expectancy and joy. Their mother was hit by a car, and her devotion to her kittens impelled her to drag herself from the roadside and across a fence to her nest before she collapsed, her back broken. She was humanely euthanized, and her litter brought with her to the veterinarian, where, fortunately, an experienced and very tender hearted vet assistant was on hand to receive the great responsibility and important trust of raising these little ones. (she is the same individual who recently fostered Cabbage and Myrna.) Winken is a grey male. Blinken is an orange male.
Perhaps because they were handraised from such an early age, Winken and Blinken have trusting, outgoing natures. While it would be fun to see them adopted as a sibling pair, it is not a requirement. We are still on the fence as to whether these kittens will be medium or long-haired cats; suffice it to say they have full coats, and more importantly, lovely dispositions!
Adoption fee for these kittens is $90 each.
