Meet Winifred, a young feline with a heart full of love. Despite her shy demeanor, she's incredibly sweet and friendly. Her gentle nature is soothing, making her the perfect companion for quiet nights in. Winifred is FIV+, which means she has a weakened immune system. Winifred will need someone to keep up with her yearly vet checkups to make sure any concerns are caught early. Research shows that FIV cats may have a similar life expectancy to uninfected cats. Winifred doesn't let FIV+ slow her down, she is happy and healthy even with FIV+. She's a purr machine, her loud, clear purrs can turn any bad day around. Winifred thrives in the company of other cats, her gentle nature allowing her to get along well with others. Other cats make her feel more confident and secure. Winifred will need a home with another kitty friend. Her sisters Sarah and Mary are available if you have room in your home and heart for two. With her fluffy, soft coat, she's a joy to cuddle with. Winifred's gorgeous spirit shines through in everything she does. She should be adopted because she has so much love to give. She just needs someone to give a shy cat a chance. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
