Along with his individual personality, and the fact that he had his back rear leg amputated due to an injury, makes him a unique and (we think) very special guy. He likes the company of other cats, particularly females that he can snuggle with, but he is always a bit timid at first with his human friends. After William gets a sniff of your hand, he relaxes for pets, but he will always be just a bit on alert. His favorite pastime when not hanging out with his girlfriends is to sun himself in the windows and he has been known to get up high without issue despite his tripod status. As his name would suggest, and as his dressy coat displays, William keeps a tight rein on sharing himself with others unless he knows he can trust you. He would do best in a home with a very low-key, quiet vibe so he can settle in on his terms. Once you gain his favor, you will be honored by His royalty, as he lets you into his world by lessening formalities for a wonderful life together! DOB 8/2020 Cat adoption information and application can be found at www.staf.org. All cats and kittens have been vet-checked, spayed/neutered, and are up-to-date on vaccinations. Adoption fee includes carrier, scratching pad, starter pack of food and litter, and toy. We prefer kittens be adopted in pairs. We offer free advice anytime about your adopted cat. If, for any reason, it doesn't work out, we will take the cat back, anytime in the future. Potential adopters must be interviewed in person, at the shelter, and live within 150 miles of Cincinnati.
