Whisper was rescued with the rest of the checkers litter from a woman who was overwhelmed with cats and kittens, totally over 40 in the home. The woman reached out for help and we were able to remove them and get them right into foster care and properly vetted. Whisper is a very sweet but shy girl. She needs time and patience from a loving person to show her that she is no longer in the horrible situation she was in and that she is safe now. It takes her a bit of hiding and time and sniffing and playing before she will start to trust. While she is learning how NOT to be so scared, she does loves head scratches and butt scratches. She will curl up into a little ball when she’s getting attention. She would do best in a calm home. It would be ideal for her to be adopted with one of her siblings or if there is a young cat already in the home.
