Whisky

Whisky is a 4 year old neutered male cat looking for his forever home. He definitely appreciates the company of people and would do well in a household with another cat or with a person who can work from home remotely. He enjoys playing with wand toys and loves attention. Out of the boxes, cat tunnels, and beds we offered, he prefers to sprawl on a counter or open bed on the floor. We think he would enjoy sitting next to his person on the couch and simply bask in their presence. He asks for attention at his cage door, does not mind seeing dogs in our lobby, does not mind getting picked up and moved, and does not mind when we rearrange or clean his cage. These would normally be times that a cat may show he is overstimulated, but Whisky seems to enjoy these experiences. We do not know much about his past, but he was taken to the city shelter for a scratch incident. It is because of this that we would want him to go to a home with people who know cat behavior and someone who has experience living with cats. While he was at ACC and while being with us, we have not seen any aggression and we are unsure what caused the incident.
