Weldon

Hi there, my name is Weldon, or Welly for short! I am a sweet grey tabby boy who is almost two years old. When I came into rescue, I was horribly itchy and had scratched so much I gave myself terrible wounds, but you'd never know it now. With vet care and plenty of TLC, I feel and look awesome. I do not have to wear a donut anymore (although you gotta admit, I looked cute!). I eat a special food to manage my allergies and I can't have any other food or treats, but otherwise, I'm a perfectly normal guy and ready to find my forever family. Everyone who meets me says I'm a total sweetheart. I'm extremely friendly, affectionate, and outgoing. My most favorite thing to do is soak up love and attention. My best trick is giving hugs -- if I'm at your level, or you're at mine, I'll put my paws up on your shoulders and give you lots of kisses. Besides attention, I love cozy naps and mealtime. I like to play and be silly sometimes, but I'm out of the crazy kitten stage and wouldn't dream of destroying your house. I can be a little timid of new places and sounds (like the ice maker! or the automatic litterbox!) but I adjust quickly. I get along great with other cats (the ladies LOVE me!), and also with dogs, after a proper introduction. I always use the litterbox like a good boy. I am neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, and combo tested negative. My foster mom says somebody absolutely NEEDS my glorious sweet outgoing self in their life!
