My Story

Meet Waterloo! This young, 7 pound tortie is looking for a family where she can explore and grow. Waterloo is a sweet girl who was abandoned by her previous owners. Poor baby had to fend for herself until a kind stranger took her in and saved her life. Her favorite parts of the VIP life so far include lounging on soft blankets, rubbing her fosters legs while waiting for food (and vocalizing that she is more than ready to eat!) and playing with her butterfly toy. Because she was abandoned and alone, Waterloo takes a bit of time to trust humans. Once she realized her foster was the primary source of treats, she started bouncing over for them on the regular. She loves pets, and has the best elevator butt in town. Waterloo has a habit of popping up out of nowhere to request chin scratches, and how could anyone say no to those big eyes? She has a beautiful coat and enjoys being brushed. She is less inclined to hop on a human lap, and more likely to lay next to you, purring away. Waterloo would do best as a solo kitty. If you are looking for a companion who is self sufficient while you're at work, who still perks right up when you get home, you've found your girl. Apply to adopt Waterloo at bit.ly/btcradopt Or through our website http://bronxtails.org All Bronx Tails cats are spayed/neutered (when age appropriate), vaccinated, tested for Feline AIDS and Feline Leukemia (negative for both) and are litterbox reliable and loving toward people. Note: in the instance a kitten is still too young to spay/neuter at the time of adoption, we will arrange for the surgery at a later date. We require adopters to fill out an application, have basic references checked, allow a home visit, a brief video (to ensure conditions are safe and reasonable), and pay an adoption fee. We allow all adopters an up-to-2-week-long tryout period to determine if the cat(s) is a good match for them. If not, we will retrieve the cat(s) and return the adoption fee in full
