My Story

IMPORTANT: Wasabi is an anxious cat. She does not like to be held or picked up and will run if it is too noisy or when approached too quickly. Once she relaxes she is the first to come and cuddle for a nap, or happily sit on a lap to watch a show. Prospective adopters should be prepared to spend time acclimating Wasabi to her new home (you won't regret it- I promise!), and a dog-free home is recommended. Wasabi is the most affectionate cat with the softest fur (almost like petting a bunny!). Her tiny squeaks will let you know she is ready for some pets and treats. Wasabi answers to her name (especially if you call “wasabi-be!”) but doesn’t always come when called. You’ll often find her napping under a bed with other cats. She hasn’t met a cat she doesn’t already love, and it is recommended she go to a home with other furry friends. Wasabi lives in a home with a dog but isn’t fond of them and will not occupy the same room as one. Wasabi has been in foster for over a year and is ready to find her furrever home!
