Part of a litter of stray kittens born in a backyard in the LA area, a wonderful couple rescued them, socialized them, and took care of all their health needs. Once Walter and Tinx were ready to be adopted, these Good Samaritans reached out to The Rescue House for help finding homes for these two fine felines. They snagged spots at PetSmart Aero, and that is where they currently are hanging out ... waiting for you!
These darlings adore cuddling and playing with each other! They enjoy all kinds of toys, cat TV, and looking out the window to chatter at the birds. When they are done frolicking, they will want to sit in your lap and snuggle with you! Here's a little more about them, in their own words:
---Hi, Walter here! I am larger than my sister, so she describes me as a gentle giant. Affectionate and snuggly, I love sitting in your lap, making biscuits, and then drifting off to sleep to dream about chasing things. Speaking of that, I enjoy a variety of toys and am not picky when it comes to my playthings! In terms of games, I especially like tag with Tinx. While I have my energetic moments, I can be mellow, too-lying in the sun or on a windowsill is a favorite pastime. I can be a tad bashful around people I don't know, but a tasty treat can usually convince me to come out and introduce myself!
---And I'm Tinx! I am a little peanut-cute and sweet. I love being scratched under my chin, and butt scritches are always welcome! Although I might back away if you try to pick me up, I will come right back to rub against your legs or lie on your lap and watch TV with you. I appreciate various types of toys-wands, lasers, tunnels ... you name it! I also am an awesome jumper if I do say so myself! Like my brother, I can be a bit timid around strangers; however, treats are a good way to entice me to come out and say hello.
***Walter and Tinx MUST be adopted together.
Walter and Tinx are good with other cats. Since they have never been around dogs, they're not sure how they feel about living with one. While they have not spent time with children, they would probably be okay with calm older kiddos.
Will you give these two sweet and loving cats the furever home they are looking for?
