Wally

Meet Wally, an extra special boy looking for a new start! His story began with us after he escaped from some kind of leg/claw trap. His leg was not able to be saved, but his amputation has healed beautifully! Now Wally is all ready for a safe, forever home of his very own. This big handsome chunk is so outgoing and loveable! He follows you around, jumps up on your lap, and provides endless entertainment with his hilarious personality. Wally does still have some PTSD from his old life. Loud or sudden noises really startle him probably from whatever kind of trap crushed and pierced his paw. For these reasons he needs a calmer home without small children. He does well with other cats and calmer cat-friendly dogs after a slow introduction. He really loves attention on his own terms, so if he's not in the mood he will give you a tap which is typically followed by him jumping into your lap for attention having completely changed his mind 15 minutes later! To pass the time, he adores looking out the window and birdwatching. Wally has no known health issues and has adjusted very well to only having 3 legs.
