My Story

Looking for barn cats? Wade and Shego came together from a location where they could no longer have reliable resources to care for themselves. After having the time to get their fur all cleaned up during their stay at the shelter, they are now ready for a fresh start. Wade is a beautiful long-haired tabby cat with white feet. He is a "you can look, but don't touch" kind of guy, interested in what you're doing but not welcoming any pets. His companion, Shego, looks similar except for her short hair and a pink nose that looks like it is outlined with eyeliner. Shego is more timid and reserved around people but loves to follow and be groomed by Wade, making them a bonded pair of outdoor cats. She will also let you know when you are too close for comfort and she gives a warning hiss and would prefer to run or hide. Wade and Shego would do best in a barn home where they can have shelter protection at night, from weather and dangers, and a regular food routine provided for them every morning and evening. These two are perfect for anyone looking for a pair of hardworking, self-sufficient barn cats who will appreciate a safe place to call home. If you have any questions or would like to get Wade and Shego acclimated to your barn, please call the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society.
