Virgil was found near an apartment complex frequenting the community cat feeding station. He had approached one of our volunteers in a way as if to say 'please help me'. Sadly, this poor boy had been battling with an abscess on his shoulder. Most likely due to an animal bite. We, of course, had to step up to give him the vet care he so desperately needed! We also found that he had a microchip. We reached out to his previous home who immediately gave us permission to find Virgil a new home. Their home was too busy for Virgil's needs and they hadn't even noticed that he was missing!
Our wonderful vet cleaned up Virgil's wound and he has been recovering well. (His hair is slowly growing back ) Virgil also has the adorable feature of being polydactyl. He is a very sweet and affectionate boy who just want someone to love him. He's a bit shy at first but adjust to new environments fairly quickly. Due to his history, he would prefer a quiet home with no children, dogs or other cats.
Virgil has been neutered, vaccinated, tested for FeLV/FIV/HW/parasites (all negative) and microchipped. His adoption fee is $225+tax
