My Story

Dearest Gentlereader, Let me be the first to report that this super soft and velvety panther of a girl, with beautiful green eyes, is looking for her forever home. That's right, you guessed it, Violet Bridgerton, the young mother of several healthy, thriving kittens, is now in need of her own safe place with her very own loving forever human family. Tragically, when Violet and her babies came into foster care, she was very sick, and we were unsure whether she would pull through. It is my great pleasure to announce that she not only got well, she also finished nursing her babies until they were ready to wean, and is now gaining weight herself, and even enjoys playing! Violet is quiet and respectful by nature, and really prefers to go to a home without any loud or active dogs (an old, slow moving, respectful dog would be alright), and a home that is generally calm and quiet. It is no wonder she can be fearful of loud noises, after having to fend for herself and her babies prior to coming into foster care. She looks to humans lovingly for reassurance. Violet is indeed extremely loving towards all humans, and she is quick to purr and rub on your legs. Violet will do best with someone who is patient, experienced with timid felines, and - perhaps of highest importance - someone who is willing to have a kitty sleep on their bed, as this is definitely her preferred sleeping situation. Miss Violet would be comfortable being adopted on her own, or with one of her kittens either Eloise or Edmund. (Since weaning her babies, she does not care for the rambunctious other boys in the litter.) If you are interested in meeting this soft, loving, sweet girl, Dear Reader, please fill out a statement of interest at once! All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with age-appropriate vaccinations. Young cats have an adoption fee of $175. If you would like to apply to be a forever home for this cat, please fill out a statement of interest at www.alternativehumanesociety.com. Unless otherwise indicated, all our cats and kittens are best suited for indoor-only life.
