Say Hello to Violet! The sweetest, goofiest baby tuxedo you could ever meet. She likes to greet you when you are wide awake and pops out to show that she is here and present. She also likes to meow while food is being served and runs around in circles while I put her dish down. She is a very big eater and would munch all day long if I let her. She loves to climb and play with all kinds of toys especially with her siblings. She is a purr machine and likes to join you in bed when it’s sleep time. She likes to be carried and loves to be held. She loves to drink water allll day long and when she’s finished with her water she likes to roll around in her little dish. She loves to play with her siblings and would be a great baby sister! She is used to dogs and other cats and is totally chill about everything else. Currently in foster care in South LA. Foster-to-adopt is always an available option and recommendation. All Del Gato kitties are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLv, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. Thank you! ____________________ Del Gato Rescue is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue based in Los Angeles, CA. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue. We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized. We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline overpopulation crisis. When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family. If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.
