My Story

Violet is 100% pure feline excellence: proudly independent, a little mysterious, yet charmingly affectionate with those she deems worthy. Make no mistake, she decides when it's petting time! Violet has her own agenda much of the time, though at night she can't resist snuggling up to snooze next to her favorite person (the sneaky devil). Violet could also be content to share her space with other respectful cats and dogs, though she would likely prefer to be the only pet vying for your attention. And while she can be friendly with strangers from time to time, she isn't going to do that well with meeting or living with children, so she prefers a more mature circle of friends for her biscuit making book club. Violet also isn't the biggest fan of most traditional toys, but does enjoy an engaging wand session from time to time. She was also diagnosed with a heart murmur (Grade 3 of 6) upon her return to us at PAWS, so getting her down to a healthier weight will help manage that along with making it part of her regular check-ups, but it isn't anything that requires medication at this time.
