Verner

Meet Verner! Verner and his brothers were trapped this spring along with their mama and her boyfriend after a nice family in Penn Hills noticed them hanging out on their porch! Verner is as cute as they come! He is the smallest of his litter and one of the most trusting of people. He is a little sweeter and easier to handle than his brothers, and he will win you over quickly with his gentle demeanor. He still likes to play but he's also happy to get plenty of Zzzzzs in and may even be up for a little cuddle every now and then! Verner is still a little skeptical of people. He loves to play and will tolerate some pets and cuddles. However, we believe that if Verner was in a home with an outgoing cat buddy or if he was adopted with another kitten (maybe one of his brothers?) into a home with a cat-savvy family who understands that it may take him a little time to while to open up, he will make the best cat buddy! Verner has never met a dog, but we think he could do great with a dog with proper introductions. He could also do well with respectful kiddos of any age who understood that he might not be super cuddly at first. He would also do best starting off in a smaller room and then being introduced to the rest of the family. Verner is about four months old.
