My Story

You could judge this book by her cover - with a calico coat and little crinkle ear, Verne is as adorable as she is sweet. You may need to do a little exploring to find Verne, but you won't need to Journey to the Center of the Earth or travel 20,000 Leagues. She likes to nestle in the corners of her suite, tucked behind the tower of cubbies or up on top of the ramp. Verne can be shy and prefers to wait for new people to approach her. She warms up quickly, though, and will soon surround you with soft, gentle purrs. Verne is very affectionate, and loves pets and chin scratches. She would be happy to curl up next to you while you read a book - maybe some classic science fiction? She gets along with her feline roommates, and would be happy in a multi-cat home or on her own.
