Vera (adoption pending)

Vera is named from the waitress at Mel's Diner on the television sitcom "Alice!" She is lovable, shy and clumsy. Vera is nutty and ditzy but well-mannered! She savors kitty treats, gets a kick out of any toy that dangles and bats around plush kitten balls! Vera admires birds from a window seat, loves to be petted and gives purrs in return. She relaxes with her littermates Flo and Mel. Vera can handle a cat-friendly dog. She is a brown tiger tabby. As of July 2024, Vera is 3 months old. Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
