My Story

Vera is a very sweet and easy-going 2-year-old Tortoiseshell Point Himalayan. This beautiful girl came to us when she, along with three other cats, was abandoned by her owner. She was found outside by a neighbor who reached out to us for help. When Vera first joined us, her belly and chest were heavily matted. We worked on getting the mats out slowly so that we didn't have to shave her gorgeous coat. While she is still not a big fan of being combed, she is getting used to it. She will need someone with a lot of patience to get her more comfortable with being groomed. Vera is currently staying in a room with one of the cats she came with, a young Persian male, and would do great with another laid-back cat. Vera was spayed on July 31st. She is up to date on core vaccinations and is FIV/FeLV negative. Her adoption fee is $350. If you would like to meet or adopt Vera, please complete our online adoption application on this site. If you have specific questions about Vera, you can email us at [email protected]. Priority will be given to adopters who have prior experience with Himalayan or similar breed cats. Due to the need for daily combing/brushing, and regular professional grooming, Vera is not a cat for everyone. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE NEED AT LEAST 48 HOURS TO PROCESS APPLICATIONS.
