My Story

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. VANESSA FISK has had a rough life. We believe someone dumped her in our area. She found herself to our outdoor colony. Then we found her in our front lawn, attacked by some kind of animal. We rushed her to the vet. She has a huge scar under her fur. You cant see it at all. In her long recovery process, VANESSA FISK learned to adapt to the indoor life (that's why we think she was dumped). So now she is nice and plumb. She's timid, but we believe in a home with a person or family looking for a quite new buddy will make her flourish. While she has spent time in our cattery, she has learned to be social with all the cats. She's even learned to climb to the ceiling ramp. She's looking for a place to just be a couch potato. Someone's reading buddy. Ok...maybe a TV buddy. Who needs a friend? VANESSA FISK is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / CALICO MIX. She is about 6 years old and is good with cats. She has never been around dogs or young children. We don't think she will do well with dogs. The vet thinks a coyote or loose dog attacked her. VANESSA FISK is currently at our rescue in Hemet, California. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT) 2. Fill Out Online Form 3. Submit Online Application 4. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient. VANESSA FISK is ALREADY fully vetted. The adoption fee of $200 covers: Spay FVRCP shots RABIES shot FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal Dewormer Stronghold Flea Control Microchip We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS. If for some unfortunate reason you missed out on the kitten/cat you emailed about...I'm sure that we could help you with another rescue baby! Just ask!
