Van MRQ#: 1A8-23-1 DOB: 04/16/23 SEX: Male BREED: DSH COLOR: White - Turkish Van markings Hi! I am Van. My brother thinks I’m a goofball, but he is wrong. I’m just curious. I like to follow my nose. There are so many interesting things to smell. I like to smell shoes that have been other places. And where other cats have been. And also the big cats, if they come into my room to visit. I want to be friends with them, especially if they are girl cats. But if they tell me to back off, then I do that, because I have good manners. Also, I like to smell everything in the rest of the house, too. And if the window gets cracked open a bit then I get to smell birds and lizards and other outside things. Watching birds is my hobby. Also I have opinions. I like treats! I like pats and skritches! I like to sleep in my crate and also in my hammock. I like to look down on the world from that really high cabinet in my room. I also like boxes, and toys, and wrapping paper! I like to explore new places! I like to help with laundry and kill the socks. I like to play with my brother and kitty-wrestle. I hate going in the car, and I will let you know that. I hated getting shots at the vet. Also, I don’t like adoption events. But I am interested in new meeting people, especially if they let me come to them, and especially if they have treats for me. Did I say that I like treats? I am very motivated by food. I already know one trick. I will go into my crate for a treat. I would like to learn more tricks, because then I would get treats for doing them. I would be a great office cat! That is what I have been doing since I was little. Sometimes I jump up and sit on my foster mom’s desk when she is working. But then I get bored because I can’t catch the cursor. I also like to sit next to people. The big cats sit on laps, but I haven’t figured that one out yet, I like to sit next to people and purr. I am a very beautiful cat. And exotic! Even though I was born in a backyard under a barbecue, I am colored just like a Turkish Van. I even like to play with water. So maybe I am really that kind of cat. I think so. I am hoping I get adopted soon so I can have my own house and people.
