Hi, I'm Val. I was about 4 months old and all alone when I was rescued from the street. I was very, very scared and after coming to SBACC, I went to a foster home so I could get used to people and other cats. I spent about 6 weeks in foster care and then came back to SBACC. I've been getting braver all the time, and have adjusted to my room and roommates here at SBACC. While the volunteers are trying to encourage me to relax more around people, I still don't welcome pets or being picked up. I will need a quiet forever home with another cat or kitten and a family with lots of patience who will give me plenty of time to feel comfortable.
