My Story

Ursula is such a special and unique kitten with quite the story behind her. Ursula is a FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) survivor, an illness that was fatal just a few short years ago. She underwent a lengthy course of daily medication, as well as routine bloodwork, to monitor her path of treatment. She is officially considered cured of FIP and is now so happy and silly you would never know she was sick! FIP can be an intimidating illness to learn about, so we encourage you to reach out to our shelter with any questions. There have been significant developments in the treatment of this disease recently, with excellent short and long-term results. Ursula is on the cutting edge! As far as personality goes, this little tabby has it all. She is always up for playtime and plays fetch better than most dogs! She mastered the ever-challenging "bring it back" portion of the game with ease. In her time with her foster family, Ursula has shown that she is a brave feline with near-unlimited curiosity. She loves dogs, cats, people, and anything else she can interact with! Ursula will do best in a high-energy and interactive household with many friends for her to meet. She loves children as well!
