Oh sweet baby Tulip! She has come so far! Once a very timid, scared, and spicy outdoor kitten, she is now a chunky lover girl.
This girl loves to be pet, and she will follow her foster around and meow until she gets her fill of love. She loves making biscuits and purring up a storm while being pet!
She is a very happy go-lucky kitten who can play for hours! She is so silly and will do the goofiest, uncoordinated jumps off the bed to chase down wand toys!
She loves food and other cats and will try to make biscuits on other kitties!
Her pattern is also extremely gorgeous. Tulip is the classic snow shoe Siamese pattern, and her coloring is very symmetrical! Her eyes are a deep blue, and she has little black toe beans plus one surprise pink bean!
Tulip is shy around new people due to her past, but it is so rewarding to allow her time to warm up to you and gain her trust. Once she knows that she is safe around you, she will love you unconditionally!
Currently in foster care in Lakewood. Foster-to-adopt is always an available option and recommendation.
All Del Gato kitties are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLv, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption.

Del Gato Rescue is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue based in Los Angeles, CA. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue.
We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized.
We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis.
When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family.
If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.
If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.
