My Story:
Tripod & her sister, Thumper are only 1 year old and sure do hope to find a great family to adopt them both together. They very much enjoy cuddle time together & even clean each other on occassion too. They were given up at no fault of their own, simply due to the owner going through financial problems & being unable to care for them, as well as her several other pets. They were the newest additions so it was only fair they were the ones to be given up. We know they'll have no trouble finding a new family since they're both super nice girls. Tripod we're told had a birth defect with her foot, and then to top it off, her mother starting chewing off her foot...so she has a leg, but no foot on 1 of her back feet. It sure doesn't stop her from getting around though or being sweet. She does on occassion have cramps in that leg we're told, but that's just how she is and someone will have to love her for that. Tripod is a beauitful gray ticked tabby, while Thumper is a gray & tan tabby. Both are special girls who deserve a home fill with lots of love. Thumper is the sweetest of the 2, and the 'chirper' when she talks...while Tripod is sweet, but a little more reserved and extra special. She can be a little touchy with her foot, which is obviously to be expected so a home without little children is best so they don't try to pull, poke, pinch or play with her 'stub'.
