Three key words - handsome, handsome, handsome. Short haired, a deep coppery red-gold coat, with tabby markings on his face and front legs, and so good looking, he doesn’t need to be a darling, but he is. I had to check my sister’s suitcase before she left town to make sure she didn’t run off with him. Tony had been sleeping with her every night. She said he was so quiet and gentle about it, and would get into bed without disturbing her, but at some point he’d have to reach out with a soft paw, just to touch her, to make a connection. What a doll. All guys should be like Tony.
He’s just over a year old, slender, supple, and sweet. He has been neutered. The vet reports that he has dental problems, but his teeth and gums don’t look too bad, although he seems to be a little sensitive about his front teeth. He’s still able to eat dry cat food. It bears watching, to make sure he stays happy and healthy.
Tony is pretty good with other cats, and he ignores the big smelly dog. Friendly, he likes to be able to watch what’s going on, or to flop down in front of you to ask to get petted. Tony is a cat who needs to be around people. He has absolute faith that the love he puts out will be returned.
This magnificent red boy was rescued from the County shelter along with his buddy, Nick. They were turned in to the shelter because their former owner was ill and could no longer care for them. Tony is neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and is micro chipped. For more information, please contact Lola at 480-391-2640 or
