Meow, I’m Tommy. I am a handsome Maine Coon mix with long white whiskers who loves to talk! I am a loving boy and crave attention. I like to be petted, and did I already mention I am easy on the eyes? I have also been declawed on all four paws. Yeah, yeah, yeah...I’ve got some special needs. Now I am going to go into “vet mode” and just tell you like it is. My kidneys don’t work as properly as everyone else’s, and I cannot concentrate my urine very well. Because of this, my body loses more water than usual. Since my body is unable to make up for the fluid loss just by drinking extra water, I require subcutaneous fluids 3 times a week. But you can learn to administer the fluids to me at home yourself (if you don’t already know how), and it is really not that big of a deal and doesn’t take very long. I am a good boy while having them given to me. I think I deserve a great, loving home just like everyone else and just because I require a little extra TLC shouldn’t stop that dream from happening.
