My Story

Tippie (named for the white tip on her tail & the black tip by her nose) is a beautiful long haired black & white tuxedo kitten. She was born 9-3-07 and is looking for her new forever home. She wants to be a total indoor cat. She gets along well with the foster homes cats and dogs and loves people. Tippie is to be an indoor only kitty, she will only be adopted to a home that will go outside with her if she does want to go outside. Tippie is one of the more outgoing out of the litter, yet she still has her definite times that she wants you to pet her & love on her...in fact...she refuses to leave you alone until you do so. It's very sweet. She is a typical crazy, fun loving, rambunctious, climb your curtains kitten. She loves her cuddle time with her people but also likes to play. If you adopt Tippie you must have and be willing to take the time to brush her or she will become badly matted. Tippie has been spayed and is current on all her vaccinations until 12-24-08. If you adopt Tippie, you must agree to keep her vaccinated annually (keep in mind her vaccination due date is just before Christmas so you will have to plan ahead to have the money to pay for her annual vaccinations). Please take into consideration before adopting any pet that with owning a pet comes great financial responsibility that you must be prepared for at all times. Tippie is litter box trained & looking for her forever home. Tippie came to the Bingham County Humane Society after her Mom snuck into a local residents shed & had her babies. The resident decided to do the right thing by keeping Tippie's family, altering them, and finding good homes for all of them. However, it soon became evident they would be unable to do so as her husband and grandson are deathly allergic to kitties. The resident would go out to feed the babies, go back inside, & her family members severe allergies would begin with their eyes swelling shut. Needless to say she called us and we took Tippie, her Mom Princess, her 1 brother, and her 2 sisters into foster care. They have all been a joy to watch grow up. When Tippie's Mom came to the Bingham County Humane Society, she was severely malnourished, underweight, and her coat was in horrible condition. Tippie's Mom is so friendly and lovey, we are wondering if her Mom was someone’s house cat until she went into heat. Perhaps at that point, she was then thrown outside, got pregnant and her people no longer wanted her so they dumped her. She did not let this slow her down much. Tippie's Mom was a fighter, she was able to keep all her babies alive as well as herself and now, they are all strong, fun loving, rambunctious kitties. She even took on an orphan kitty we were struggling to keep alive. If you would like to see Tippie or get more information contact the Bingham County Humane Society answering machine at (208)680-3881 and leave a message asking for Shantel's foster Tippie.
