My Story

FromTigger's foster mom: This is Tigger, he loves catnip! He loves to roll around in it. He is big, I think he must weigh around 18 pounds or so. He loves attention, loves to sleep in the bed with us. He has no claws, both front and back have been removed, he has no matted fur which is surprising when you look at him and his long hair. He was a little timid when we first got him, it took a few weeks for him to settle down, but then my other cat is a bully and won't allow Tigger to come out with the rest of them, so Tigger is usually under a bed or in a closet, but when I take him out when the other cats are sleeping or outside, he is very affectionate. He eats friskies wet food, I give him dry also but he prefers the wet food. He is litter box trained. Tigger's family's house caught on fire and we adopted him and now they cannot be reached. He previously lived with 2 kids, 2 dogs and another cat, I am not sure if he was always hiding then or not, but he has been through a lot and he deserves a quiet home. He seems to really show his personality when he feels safe. I really don't want to give him up for my own selfish reasons. I already love the guy, but it is not a good life for him and it breaks my heart seeing him so scared all the time of my other cat. Tigger is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. For more information, please contact Alyssa at [email protected] or call 480-892-4093.
