Theodore

Theodore is a classic dark brown tabby boy with adorable, slightly tattered ears and extra thumbs on his front feet. He came to HART through no fault of his own with his brother Albert and is now 10 1/2 years old. He was understandably confused and sad when he first came to the shelter and began living with other cats. He has relaxed since then and revealed more of his gentle and loving purrsonality. He was a bit more reserved than Albert but has come out of his shell. He too adores people, pets, and scritches, along with catnip toys. Theodore is hyperthyroid, a common condition in older cats which is easily treated with medication and regular monitoring. Theodore had severe diarrhea when he came and we are currently feeding him an over the counter "duck" protein based diet. Your veterinarian may decide that he should eat a prescription diet. Due to his medical needs his adopter would need to have an established relationship with a veterinarian. If you'd like to meet Theodore in Room 1, he would love to meet you!
