The Cowardly Lion

Was the Cowardly Lion your favorite in the Wizard of Oz? If so, this is the boy for you! Simon is SO sweet, but drop a pin and he runs for cover! Then he pokes his head out to say "is it okay now?" The story on this boy is a bit confusing; it sounds like he has been an outdoor cat for many years, one who came to be fed and to sit on the lap of the lady who fed him, but never to be taken inside. He was brought to a shelter by the tearful woman who said she was moving and could not take him with her - but when released to the shelter Simon was terrified, and was destined to end up living in corners and cubbies, overwhelmed by all the newness. I was asked to take this boy in and find him a home. Are you that home? Simon is exceptionally sweet, but very shy. He has been with me for about 3 weeks, and is now coming out of hiding to get pets and love - but scurrying back into his carrier quickly if startled. He can be the love of your life, if you are willing to give him time to adapt to a normal inside life. Very gentle children would be okay with Simon, but very active and rambunctious ones would probably never see him. Simon is a ?chocolate point Siamese, and I would guess he has some Persian in him - his face is a bit flat and round. His personality is so gentle, he will need gentle people to match. Estimated to be 10 years old, Simon is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, deflea'd and dewormed; he has had a senior panel of blood work done, and a thorough health exam. All looks good.
