Teddy-Super Mellow Snuggler-Summer Rate Adoption Fee

Meet Teddy, 2 y/o male Teddy – Sweet boy looking for a lap Teddy is a 2-year-old male cream tabby cat. His fosters call him Teddy Bear because he is such a gentle, loving boy who just wanted to cuddle with someone all day. Teddy showed up at a local feeding spot for feral cats looking for food. He was skittish at first and would disappear into the storm drains where he was living but with some kind words and treats he came around and once he knew the people were safe he let them scoop him up to take him to Laurel Cats. Teddy walked right out of the carrier into his foster home and curled up on the bed to sleep. He was clearly someone’s pet at some point in his short life and he was so grateful to have a full belly and a safe place to sleep. He is the perfect cat. He loves to cuddle, he likes being picked up and carried around. He will lay in your arms like a baby and make air biscuits while you pet him or stretch out next to you on the bed and gently touch his paw to your cheek while you pet his head. He is a lap cat and loves to climb in his foster dad’s lap while he is working at the computer. As much as he loves to cuddle he is also happy to play with cat toys by himself or curl up in his cat tree to sleep when no one is around. He is super mellow and just loves to be loved. We are unsure how Teddy would do with dogs or other cats. We DO know that Teddy would make the perfect addition to any family. All he needs is a warm lap and lots of love! You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt from us. NOTE: Finding foster space is challenging, and once a cat or kitten is ready for adoption we are naturally keen to free up the space in order to help more cats and kittens in need. We therefore ask that you only apply to adopt one of our cats or kittens if you are in a position to take them immediately, subject to a home check. Laurel Cats does not have a shelter or storefront. Our kittens and cats are placed in the homes of loving volunteer fosters until they are adopted. This means our cats are accustomed to being handled and loved.
