Taki

Sweet Taki was rescued from the streets of upper Manhattan, where he struggled with hunger and injuries. He's thrilled to be inside now and loves everything about his new indoor life. Every mealtime is a celebration for him! He loves all foods and toys, adores being brushed, goes into a carrier easily, and even takes medicines like a pro. He likes attention from people and other cats but is also happy on his own. It takes very little to make him happy -- he is just relieved to be safe. Taki has been neutered and is up to date on shots. He has a perfect record with the litterbox. He takes a daily pill for his heart, and has tested positive for feline immunodeficiency virus, though it hasn't affected his quality of life or his body's ability to fight disease. His vet thinks he is around 3 years old, and that he has many healthy, happy years ahead.
