My Story

Sylvia needs a quiet cat-loving home with someone prepared to spend time and attention with her to help continue her socialization. She has the loveliest personality and is very sweet with other cats. Sylvia needs a home with another friendly cat or two who want a companion. Born November 9th, 2022, Sylvia was a little slip of a thing, terrified and almost a ghost who tried to come and eat at her caretaker's feeder when the big cats were not around. Against the odds she survived and became a very young mum. Once she had babies to feed she would appear crying for food and finally her feeder was able to trap her and her youngest kitten. Amazingly she responded to affection very early on and although when her fosters walk in a room she still looks at them with eyes like saucers, she melts to a gentle touch and simply is phenomenally affectionate with them. Her caretakers are so proud of her and how far she has come. However, she will likely be nervous in a new home and will take some time and patience to adjust. NOTE 1: Spays, neuters, first vaccinations and vet checks are included in the adoption fee. NOTE 2: Because a young kitten needs feline companionship, it is the policy of Cat Rescue Network that kittens 6 months or younger be adopted out in pairs unless there is another kitten or young cat already in the home. NOTE 3: Cat Rescue Network only adopts their cats to homes in the National Capital region of Canada
