Sylvia was surrendered when her owner went into a nursing home and the family couldn't keep her. She's a senior lady and, common in older cats, Sylvia has mild chronic kidney disease (CKD). She also takes anti anxiety medication daily, mixed in with her food.
You wouldn't know she's a senior cat from the energy with which she plays with toys! She will seek you out for play time, pets, and to get brushed. She'll tell you when you stopped brushing her too soon.
We're looking for an experienced adopter for Sylvia, who is still available for adoption! She will need time and patience to get comfortable with you before you can see her sweet and playful side.
