My Story

Hi! I'm Sylvester! How kissable is my FACE! I'm a MASSIVE 22lb pony who would LOVE to meet you. My sister and I recently lost our dad and were brought to the shelter in hopes of finding a loving home again. We were our dad's babies, and we would lay with him when he was sick to make him feel better. It was quite the shock to learn we had to move from the only home we've ever known. We are 9 years old, MASSIVE and fluffy. I'm bonded with my sister, Olivia. She's a beautiful, 18lb fluffy calico! I like to cuddle with her to make sure she's okay. I'm pretty sure I need her more than she needs me. Back to me! I'm a quiet, distinguished gentleman who likes to be brushed and petted. I somehow feel the need to lick your arm when you pet me. I love to play with ribbon wand toys. (both Olivia and I like the ribbons) I'm also a trampoline for all the kittens in the shelter. They don't seem to have brakes when they play, so more often than not, they crash into me OR just jump on me. I don't mind though- sometimes I even join in on the fun! Both Olivia and I would do really well with someone who is home more often than not. Maybe someone who works from home OR someone who is retired. We get a little anxious when no one is home for a long stretch of time. We may still be dealing with the abrupt passing of our original owner, and we just need a little reassurance that someone is around. Of course, you don't have to be home ALL day. With time, our anxiety may fade. Olivia and I are FIV+. We can live long, healthy lives with FIV. This just means that our immune system gets hit harder by secondary infections. It's similar to HIV in humans. This is transmitted to cats by deep bites. Our mother may have passed this down to us. This is NOT Feline Leukemia (FeLV). We can be around other cats. We are around all the kitties at the shelter, and we're doing great! During our last vet visit, our vet was SHOCKED to find out we were 9 years old because we looked so young and were so healthy! What do you say? Do you need two massive fluffy kitties to cuddle with?
