Sweetie Pie was picked up at the local County Shelter when he was 5 weeks old as a feral but was really just scared. He is now 12 weeks old and very socialized to dogs, cats, and kids. Sweetie Pie lives up to his name and just loves to be held. The picture accompanying this description was taken by Aaron Lambert of the Santa Maria Times newspaper for an article about the CCSPCA and the various animals in need of homes. (Article appeared on November 21) The rottweiler pictured with Sweetie Pie is Gertie, and currently being fostered in the same home - they are good friends! Gertie is also available for adoption. Both have been adopted!
